Tag preparation for Fall 2009: Please use the barcoding system to prepare your tags. Point of sale is now active.
(1) sign up on this website to receive a consignor #, then
(2) log on to www.myjbftags.com ,
(3) create an account using your JBF consignor #
(4) read the step by step user guide.
(5) enter & print your tags
(6) print your tags on white or light colored cardstock only.
Choose print&alt to print 6 to a page.
(7) attach tags to items on the right side of the item (if you are holding it up looking at it) or left side of the item ( from the perspective you are wearing it) See pictures below of shirt and pants.. The hanger should make a question mark. ( see the graphic further down this page) You may use a tagging gun or safety pins.
(8) track your sales online
.NOTE! AT DROP-OFF INSPECTION, ANY INCONSISTENCIES WILL HAVE TO BE RE-DONE BY YOU. We cannot accept basic paper tags that do not meet these criteria. They must be on heavy weight paper or cardstock.
Please pay careful attention to your consignor number. Be sure not to transpose your numbers. We will not accept any items that have crossouts or scribbles on the tags. If you need to change something on a tag after you have it on the item, you must make a brand new tag for that item. For the Fall/Winter sale, we will accept only Fall/Winter childrens', juniors sizes, and maternity clothing.
( this includes Colorado appropriate items such as short sleeved collared shirts, but not shorts)
We will accept all seasons of sports uniforms and school uniforms.
We only accept certain brands of maternity clothing. Please inspect your items carefully at home-we will also inspect them at drop off. Clothes that are soiled, stained, holed, or smell of smoke or animals will not be accepted. Just Between Friends reserves the right to deny any unacceptable items. We accept Girls sizes preemie thru Junior. Boys sizes preemie thru size 20 . No Adult clothing accepted except maternity. PRICING you set the price! Price to sell keeping in mind the quality, name brand and condition of your items. JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS suggests starting at 1/3 of the original price you paid. We also suggest that you let your clothing items be included in the half price sale. Mark the starting price up if it is something that you are sentimental about, but of course, it is your decision if it is half price or not. Price your items in $1.00 or .50 cent increments. No .99 cents please. $2.00 Rule if your single, hanging clothing item can't bring $2.00 on it's own, please pair it with something that will bring it to this amount. This only applies to clothing, not toys/equipment. JUST BETWEEN FRIENDS will be conducting strict inspection of your items. Unacceptable items will be returned to you. - Use only one inch or larger safety pins to attach tag. No straight pins.
- Attach safety horizontally on the card. This will secure the card better.
- Pin clothing sets securely together with pants hung on the backside of the shirt and pinned at the waist on the hanger. Both pieces can be viewed without unpinning them. Pants hung on a separate hanger tend to come off the hanger and then get separated from the top.
Spending a little extra time getting your items ready will mean more money $$$ for you. Items that are cleaned, ironed, and starched, with all pieces attached, and loose threads clipped, sell much better!! |
